Launched towards to end of 2008 for a trial period and due for a full launch in Spring 2009, Ten Facts About... is a website containing ten facts about a variety of subject matter. Ten new facts are added every day and in time it is hoped that the site will have thousands of facts about all kinds of topics.

Ten Facts About... is a spin-off of a section from Bob the Alien's Tour of the Solar System. Some of the more popular pages on that site are the ones containing ten facts about the various objects in the Solar System, so it was decided to develop a website providing ten facts about other topics.

The inspiration for the facts featured on any day is usually an event relevant the day the facts are uploaded. For example, the site launched on 31st October 2008. As this was Halloween, the facts were about Pumpkins. Other facts in November were about the White House, added on the anniversary of the day that the White House first became the home of the American president, and the Berlin Wall, since it fell on the same date in 1989.

Initial visitor numbers were positive for such a new site in November 2008 and although no new content has been added since 16th November, the site still receives a steady number of visitors. The site is due to be relaunched with a similar design to the current one in Spring 2009.
